Mobileye ®

Mobileye and TrackTec have combined forces to present online and historical reporting for Mobileye events.

Mobileye is like having another set of eyes on the road, specifically a set of eyes that don’t get tired or misjudge what they see. The data digital camera data is engineered to alert the driver of dangerous situations on the road BEFORE they happen.

Normally, Mobileye’s hidden camera processes the data and presents the driver with discreet audio and visual warnings of pending danger. The types of situations Mobileye can identify are when a collision is eminent, when the driver is tailgating or if the driver should leave the lane without signaling. The result is awareness of driving habits and even alerts to bring the attention back to the road in cases of drowsiness of distractions.

When TrackTec’s DPL is connected to the Mobileye system, TrackTec decodes and transmits the same data to our servers. Once in our servers, reports can be generated which present and analyze the quantity and type of warnings a driver receives.

In addition to standard Mobileye reports, in 2009, TrackTec’s patented Safety Stars™ Driver Rating System was integrated with Mobileye events to create a dynamic and meaningful report. Read the press release here: Safety Stars Press Release.
